The theme this year for International Women’s Day is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. We know that when we invest in a woman’s business in Uganda, she will invest that money into raising her family.

Each day is a work day for women and girls in rural Uganda so they can survive and provide for their families.  

Period poverty affects girls in Uganda and is one reason they have to drop out of school.
