We work in concert with local leaders and organizations to support children and families who are victims of poverty, malnutrition, violence, and disaster to bridge the next steps in their survival and recovery.

We’ve all seen the kindness of the world when there is a disaster, either man-made or from natural causes.  Relief may rush in, but as time goes on the world’s attention is taken up by other news.  Yet, victims are left to rebuild their lives in the wake of a disaster.

We work in concert with local leaders and organizations to support children and families who are victims of poverty, malnutrition, violence, and disaster to bridge the next steps in their survival and recovery.

We use our expertise in effective aid support to counsel local leaders and advocates on the most effective ways to provide lasting change.

A shining example of a community trying to rebuild and survive is the village of Buzibirira in rural Uganda.  Devastated by HIV and AIDs, mothers left widowed, and grandparents left to raise many grandchildren, this community of strong women began to gather to support each other.

We saw this bright spot and through the support of the Foundation, the community has begun to thrive.  Many of the women have started small businesses and are now able to support their families and send their children to school.  The women are now helping other communities with their model of support.

Local leaders and communities most often know what they need to rebuild. We connect the local expertise with the resources we mobilize from our donors.  This is truly how a small group can make a big impact.

You can create lasting change in communities through your donation.
