An Addition to the Family

I'm so happy to let you know that our team member Aminsi and his wife Doreen welcomed their first child!  Baby girl Arena entered the world in Kamuli, Uganda on June 29th.

When I asked Aminsi how they were doing, he said, “We are all doing fine, just that Arena cries a lot.”  I told him that that is what babies do- sleep, eat, poop, and cry !

I've known Aminsi since he was a boy and was sponsored by the 52 Kids Foundation, where I started volunteering in Uganda.

He is a wonderful example of how a child given a chance at an education can succeed and become a strong advocate for others!

Aminsi has a heart as big as the world and does whatever he can to help his family and his neighbors. 

His compassion for others is boundless!  He often uses his own hard-earned money to help those less fortunate.  He also has a smile that will light up a room!

I've watched him work hard at school, get an education, become a videographer with his own business, and grow into adulthood. Seeing him marry and start a family is a joy!

Aminsi works tirelessly for CLP identifying needs, advocating for others, taking pictures and videos, and overseeing projects. 

We are so fortunate to have him as a member of our team!
