An Extreme Makeover
A few weeks ago I told you about Joyce and her four grandchildren who were in some of the most impoverished circumstances we have seen.

The children were abandoned by their parents and left with Joyce with no resources to get by.
The children's clothes were in tatters. They had little food and their house was barely standing with no roof.
We first put out the call for help on our crowdfunding site, DonorSee, to get immediate relief for the children. You quickly responded and food and clothing were delivered by Hilda and Aminsi.
Next, we posted a project to rebuild their home so the children would be safe at night.
Again, you, our wonderful donors responded quickly. Within two days, our amazing team in Uganda was able to get building materials and construction started on a new home.
Our Bridge to Success program works to meet immediate needs and stabilize the situation for children. Then, our team works on sustainable solutions so families can be self-supporting and live without aid.
The relief and joy from Joyce and her children were wonderful to see. They are so grateful and appreciative and they will never forget your kindness!
