The Bridge to Success

Bedding for Patricia, school supplies for Joy, Mary and Jennifer, and a wheelchair for Suzan.

They do celebrate Valentine's Day in Uganda and we wanted to send some love to you, our donors, from some of our recent Bridge to Success projects that you've made possible.

Aminah, a young single mother received food supplies and seedlings to start a kitchen garden. Her two children received much-needed clothing!

Tabingwa Sarah, also received food supplies for her four grandchildren. Sacks of beans, flour, and rice will help improve nutrition for the children.

Asaba, and her children Prossy, Maria, and Sebastian were in desperate need of mattresses, blankets, and mosquito nets. They were sleeping on feed sacks on a dirt floor. They were overjoyed to have the new bedding which will help keep them healthier.

These projects help to stabilize families so that children can stay with a primary caregiver and stay healthy. This goes a long way to lifting children out of poverty!

There was a lot of excitement this week when new desks were delivered to Butende Primary School!  You might remember me visiting with the youngest students who were sitting on the floor.

Thanks to your donations, we were able to have 15 desks built, which can seat 45 children. Students and teachers were overjoyed!

This project also helps the local economy which is a bonus!

Thank you for continuing to show your love, compassion, and humanity for those in need, and for partnering with us to make the world a better place!!

With Gratitude,

Mary

P.S. Have friends or family who you think would enjoy seeing the difference you make possible? Feel free to share this post with them!
