Holy Moly!! Yes, I'm “Dancing in September,” (love that song by Earth, Wind, & Fire!) as I see the change in the kids as they get their second-term results in Uganda! This is Martha, an orphan being raised by her elderly grandfather who had no way to send her to school. Look at her now!

It's been a busy week for our team in Uganda as they deliver supplies to the communities, and that is all thanks to you!  

Patience, a teen girl in Kamuli, Uganda, was in danger of having to drop out of school. She was fearful that each day of classes would be her last and that she'd be sent home because her tuition was overdue. 

The best part about being a teacher is talking to former students and hearing what they are up to!  It makes all the long days and sleepless Sunday nights worth it.  Now that I've retired from teaching, I especially love it when I run into my former students.
